Mulder and Scully are back! Thirteen years after The X-Files ended its nine-season run on Fox and months after talks about a new TV installment started, the sci-fi hit is returning as a six-episode event series from series creator/executive producer Chris Carter , with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson set to reprise their roles as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Production on the event series, whose plot is not being revealed, is set to begin this summer. UPDATED : Following the success of Fox ’s 24 limited series, the network is looking to bring back another iconic drama series, The X-Files . Fox TV Group chairman Gary Newman today confirmed chatter that the network is in talks for a new installment of Chris Carter ’s cult supernatural drama, which starred David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson . Newman went on to say he was “hopeful” about the outcome. Later, fellow Fox TV Group chairman Dana Walden said that the conversations so far have been only logistical, looking at windows when the key X-Files players, creator Carter and stars Duchovny and Anderson, are available. She confirmed that a potential X-Files followup will star the original leading duo of Duchovny and Anderson. There have been no creative discussions yet about what that new series might be. Battered by age, a 120-year-old bungalow in the heart of Mysuru has found an unlikely raison d’etre: Chocolate. Helming the restoration is David Belo, who delights in tilting at windmills. Ten years ago David arrived in Mysuru on another Quixotic mission: to create a wholly Indian, artisan chocolate from bean to bar. His artisan brand Earthloaf — renamed Naviluna — exceeded expectations when it was launched in 2012. Using underrated Indian cacao beans, the bars are hand-crafted at low temperatures to highlight their terroir-influenced personalities. The 2020 winter collection, for instance, features a Malabar Forest chocolate bar made with cacao from two villages in protected forest land, and sweetened with unrefined cane sugar. It also includes their award-winning Kerala Single Origin bar, spun from organically certified cacao grown by a co-operative of small farmers and fermented in cedar wood boxes.
