The leftists running the Big Apple and the Empire State have settled on a convenient COVID-19 "super spreader" scapegoat of choice. Their choice should be surprising to no one: the Jews. In a Monday press conference, Governor Andrew Cuomo did not merely single out New Rochelle, in Westchester County, as the first outbreak hotspot—he emphasized, for good measure, the "Orthodox Jewish" identity of the culprit. "We know religious gatherings have been a problem...for weeks," he continued, belying any semblance of neutrality as to which particular community he had in mind when TV producers flashed images of black hat-clad Haredi Jews across the screen. In Kafkaesque fashion, as Jewish Insider 's Jacob Kornbluh pointed out , one of the photos appeared to be from 2006. Cuomo's press conference followed his flagging, on Twitter last week, "20 hotspot ZIP codes"—clustered around the New York City metropolitan area—of locations to "target[]." Alexander Wang put his hand down my trousers and grabbed my genitals at New York club, says student
FASHION designer Alexander Wang is facing further allegations of sexual misconduct as a student alleges he was groped on a nightclub dancefloor. Keaton Bullen, 21, a student at New York's Parsons School of Design, alleges he was assaulted by Wang, 37, at a club in the city in 2019. He claims the fashion tycoon “unzipped his trousers” and started “grabbing my penis” at Fishbowl club, he told the BBC . Mr Bullen, then 20, was with a friend at the club in New York City when he says he encountered Alexander Wang on 24 August 2019 at about 11.30pm. He told the BBC they initially talked about their shared college, Parsons School of Design in lower Manhattan, where Mr Bullen is currently studying interior design. Wang then invited him to his table and offered him vodka before leading him to the dance floor, Mr Bullen alleges. "All of a sudden he unzipped my trousers, put his hands in my pants and started grabbing my penis in front of a bunch of people," said the student. … [Read more...] about Alexander Wang put his hand down my trousers and grabbed my genitals at New York club, says student
Broadway Unions Urge New York State Renewal Of COBRA Subsidies
The Coalition of Broadway Unions & Guilds is calling for health care relief in the upcoming New York State budget, specifically urging for the updating and renewal of the state’s COBRA subsidy program. “Securing health care relief is a top priority for the Broadway Unions and Guilds,” said COBUG Co-Chairs Joe Hartnett, Co-Director, Stagecraft Department, IATSE and Laura Penn, Executive Director, SDC. “Theatre workers are suffering. Almost all lost their jobs last spring, which means they’ve also lost health care for themselves and their families. Health care relief must be included in the upcoming New York State budget.” COBUG is made up of 18 unions representing workers both on and off stage in and outside New York State. “We must proactively support arts and entertainment workers with COBRA subsidies in order to make certain that these workers are here, and healthy, when our industry is ready to re-open,” Hartnett and Penn continued. New York’s current COBRA … [Read more...] about Broadway Unions Urge New York State Renewal Of COBRA Subsidies
NRA accuses New York attorney general of ‘weaponizing’ power in new lawsuit
The National Rifle Association (NRA) in a new lawsuit is accusing New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) of “weaponizing” her power against the group. The NRA filed a counter lawsuit against James in the New York State Supreme Court on Tuesday accusing James of seeking to dissolve the group for political purposes. The counter complaint was first reported by Reuters . “Even before assuming office, and without a shred of evidence that the NRA had done anything wrong, Attorney General James vowed to weaponize the supervisory powers of the NYAG to destroy one of the nation’s oldest, largest civil rights organizations,” the complaint reads. ADVERTISEMENT “Her impetus was nakedly political: to weaken the NRA as a political force in advance of the 2020 elections,” the complaint says. James sued in August 2020 to dissolve the gun rights group after an 18-month investigation found that the group and some of its officials diverted millions of dollars … [Read more...] about NRA accuses New York attorney general of ‘weaponizing’ power in new lawsuit
