Jeremejevite – £1,500 per carat Jeremejevite was first mentioned in 1883 when it was found on Mt. Soktui in Siberia and named after Pavel Eremeev (Jeremejev in German). This gem is an aluminium borate mineral with some fluoride and hydroxide ions and has the chemical formula Al 6 B 5 O 15 (F,OH) 3 .
