Actor Tom Holland has finally revealed the real title of the third installment in the Spider-Man franchise after the star cast of the film trolled fans with their own version of fake titles. SINGAPORE: Singapore faces a “real risk” of a resurgence in the number of COVID-19 cases or clusters if it resumes too many activities too quickly, Health Minister Gan Kim Yong said in Parliament on Thursday (Jun 4). Should that happen, Singapore will have to reimpose strict measures and slow down the pace of opening, he cautioned. Mr Gan was responding to Members of Parliament (MPs) Chong Kee Hiong and Lim Biow Chuan, who had asked if the ministry would consider reopening stadiums, swimming pools, food and beverage outlets and retail malls. BEIJING: Different efficacy results for a Chinese COVID-19 vaccine released separately in China and in United Arab Emirates are both real and valid, an executive at China National Biotec Group (CNBG) told state media. China approved its first COVID-19 vaccine for general public use on Thursday (Dec 31), a shot developed by an affiliate to state-backed Sinopharm, after the developer said the vaccine showed 79.34 per cent efficacy based on an interim analysis of late-stage clinical trials. That rate is lower than the 86 per cent rate for the same vaccine reported by the United Arab Emirates on Dec 9.
