The retail price of petrol has fallen by over VND45 per litre as of 4:30 p.m. on April 12, thereby marking the first decrease in five months. Following the latest price announcement made by both the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, the price of biofuel E5 RON92 endured a decline of VND45 to VND17,806 per litre, while the price of RON95 suffered a fall of VND76 to VND18,970 per litre. This latest price drop is the first to occur since November 11, 2020, with domestic fuel prices previously recording five months of consecutive rises. Before their declines occurred, the price of E5 RON92 price over the five-month period had increased by VND3,966 per litre whilst the price of RON95 had risen by VND4,345 per litre. Similarly, the prices of diesel 0.05S, kerosene, and mazut had fallen slightly, being capped at VND14,141, VND12,827 per litre, and VND13,687 per kilogramme, respectively. I've spoken before about justifying an expensive computing environment. If I can get "added value", otherwise described as the ability to use a product beyond it's intended uses, then paying a premium on components is worthwhile. If I can get longevity beyond the manufacturers intended lifespan, then that too is worthwhile. I've recently was given a 2009 Mac Pro . At one time it was the pinnacle of workstation prowess in the Apple ecosystem. I was asked to see if such an old system can cut it for today's computer workloads. Close to a decade old and comparing it to my 2014 Retina iMac, I didn't expect much from it outside of being able to use it for simple office tasks or web surfing. Boris Johnson has ordered an independent review into Greensill Capital following the David Cameron lobbying controversy. Top lawyer Nigel Boardman will lead the investigation into the now-collapsed finance firm's activities in government and the role its founder, Lex Greensill, played. The Whitehall review will look at how government contracts were secured by Greensill Capital as well as the actions of Mr Cameron. What is the lobbying scandal and why is David Cameron involved?
