While Malaysia Airlines is committed to continuing its support to the families during the whole process, we are adjusting the mode of services and support. Instead of staying in hotels, the families of MH370 are advised to receive information updates on the progress of the search and investigation and other support by Malaysia Airlines within the comfort of their own homes, with the support and care of their families and friends. The ongoing search and recovery operation for the missing Malaysia Airlines jetliner was suspended on Tuesday due to extreme weather in the southern Indian Ocean. "A visual search will resume tomorrow when the weather is expected to improve after gale force winds and heavy swells resulted in the suspension of the search operation on Tuesday," the Australian Maritime Safety Authority said in a briefing sent to Mashable . As many as 12 aircraft were grounded as a result of the weather, the AMSA said, making "any air and sea search activities hazardous and pose a risk to crew."
