The 11 remaining provinces and cities are considering the pandemic situation in their localities to make decisions on when their schools can reopen . The Ministry of Education and Training has requested local departments of education and training and educational institutions nationwide to strictly implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures, especially when students come back to school. The patients, who were treated at the COVID-19 hospital set up within the campus of the Hai Duong Medical Technical University in Hai Duong city, will undergo 14-day home quarantine under the supervision of local authorities and test for the coronavirus before the end of the quarantine. The total number of recovered patients in the province now reaches 225. Province’s preferential policies aim to offer a design for change
Growing numbers of designers and architects from Taiwan are engaged in rural renovation work in Fujian province. That's because local authorities have taken the lead in rolling out policies to help them practice their skills across the Straits. The strategy of rural revitalization and "Supporting Fujian to explore integrated development across the Taiwan Straits" (to use the official phrase) have both been included in the national development plan for the next five years. The move is aimed at providing a broad space for cross-Straits cooperation in rural construction. Early in 2018, Fujian issued a preferential policy to encourage designers and architects from Taiwan to join rural building work, including giving villages an annual subsidy of 500,000 yuan ($77,000) for each expert they employed. In 2018 and 2019, about 14 villages in Fujian received subsidies, and the number rose to 30 last year. Wuhan has a plum of a tourist attraction
More than 20,000 plum trees in more than 340 varieties are in full bloom at the East Lake Plum Garden in Wuhan, Hubei province. In recent weeks, the garden has attracted around 15,000 tourist visits per day. The garden at East Lake is the biggest plum research center in China, covering an area of more than 53 hectares and features the greatest variety in the world. The blooming scene has attracted lots of photographers and photo hobbyists to take pictures at the garden, as well as people who are fans of traditional Han clothes and cheongsam to enjoy the early spring in traditional Chinese outfits.
