Weezer released the first song off their upcoming The Black Album , which will drop next year via Crush Music/Atlantic Records. The thumping rock song “Can’t Knock The Hustle” arrives in the form of a music video that stars Fall Out Boy ’s Pete Wentz as an Uber driver. In the four-minute video, produced by Jerry Media, Wentz plays a driver who is fed up with his obnoxious nighttime passengers. As Wentz drives around Los Angeles he has to deal with a couple who can’t stop making out, much to his dismay. Eventually they start fighting, leading to a bloody incident that just serves to amp up the romantic backseat entanglement. “Can’t Knock The Hustle” was produced by TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, who the band worked with for the first time. The Colorado Criminal Defense Bar this week called for the investigation into alleged sexism, harassment and cover-ups at the Colorado Judicial Branch to be modeled after the independent investigation into the death of Elijah McClain in Aurora. Like the McClain investigation , the effort to review the judicial branch should rely on a small group of nationally recognized subject-matter experts who have no connections to Colorado’s legal community, association president Brian Williamson wrote in a letter Monday to the panel of eight people tasked with setting the parameters of the judicial investigation. The panel will determine the scope and focus of the investigation, which was prompted after former State Court Administrator Christopher Ryan alleged last month that top judicial leaders gave a $2.5 million contract to an outgoing employee in order to keep her from revealing misconduct by judges. Finally the divorce papers have been signed by both of the stars, nearly three years after they went their separate ways for good. They have remained amicable while co-parenting their children Bunny and Jett together following their dramatic split; Jett and Bunny are Katie's youngest children. The glamour model, 42, said of the divorce: "Finally, we've signed the divorce papers. I'm so happy that I'm free from that marriage." There is a plethora of comic books coming to Amazon's ComiXology Unlimited digital comics reading service in march - Marvel, DC, Image Comics, IDW Publishing, Boom! Studios, and more… but one big thing stands out. Vertigo. The complete runs of the original Hellblazer (300 issues!), Preacher (66 issues!), and Lucifer series (75 issues!) have been added to ComiXology Unlimited this month. In addition, over 200 issues of various Swamp Thing series have also been added. No specific reason has been given for this Vertigo-centric comics dump, but in some cases, it's best not to complain and just start reading (or re-reading, as the case may be). Some decidedly un-Vertigo fare being added as well this month is a heaping helping of Disney cartoon tales.
