LONDON: Formula One has a perfect opportunity to experiment with back-to-back races in Austria in July but champions Mercedes are standing in the way, Red Bull boss Christian Horner said on Monday. The governing FIA and sport's commercial rights holders Liberty Media have suggested a reverse-grid qualifying race on the second Saturday to decide that Sunday's starting order and add to the excitement. The idea would see qualifying replaced by a 30-minute race, with drivers starting in reverse order of their previous finishing position. Mercedes opposed the idea when it was raised last year and were not supportive when it came up again at a meeting last Friday. Get My Parking has been selected by Mercedes-Benz for providing a better parking experience to their car users. Get My Parking has announced its collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) to assist end-users in searching and navigating to an available parking lot. Under its flagship Startup Autobahn India programme , MBRDI has been working closely with the IoT-driven digital parking platform, to embed this feature into all Mercedes-Benz cars equipped with Mercedes Me Connect, a digital link between the car and the end-user introduced in October 2019. This collaboration seeks to address the challenge posed by lack of accurate information and limited parking space. Vietnam willing to share experience with UK on CPTPP accession
