Sony’s VR-Focused London Studio Is Hiring For PS5 Game
Sony's London Studio has mostly worked on games with required accessories, and its recent efforts have been on PlayStation VR. Now, it appears the studio is gearing up for a PS5 project , but it's not clear if it will be a VR game. What we do know, however, is there will be online play. A listing on the studio's site says it needs an online gameplay designer who will work on a PS5 project. The Telegraph, meanwhile, reported, citing sources, that members of parliament and the Downing Street have all backed the plan. The monument would be reportedly set up on the Mall, not far from the Buckingham Palace. It will be built with funds partially raised from donations. Queen Elizabeth II's husband died on Friday morning at Windsor Castle at the age of 99. His funeral funeral will take place in Windsor on 17 April. In line with his wishes, there will be no state funeral and lying-in-state. … [Read more...] about Several Thousands Join Petition to Commemorate Late Prince Phillip With London Statue
Swedish Govt Criticised for Proposing Exceptions in Anti-Polygamy Bill
The Swedish government has been accused of allowing exceptions in a new bill aimed at banning the recognition of polygamous marriages carried out overseas. Swedish Liberal Party MP Robert Hannah criticised the government bill this week, claiming that while the proposal is advertised as wanting to ban polygamous marriages, it leaves the door open to exceptions. “The Riksdag [parliament] has clearly stated that NO polygamy should be recognised in Sweden. Nevertheless, the government now has a bill recognising polygamy in some cases,” Hannah said and asked Justice Minister Morgan Johansson when it was “okay for patriarchal men to be married to several wives?” “Just three years ago, the Social Democrats and the Green Party thought that polygamy should be stopped completely. Now they have turned around completely and think it is okay for men to have several wives in exceptional cases. An exception that risks becoming the main rule,” he added . On the Swedish government … [Read more...] about Swedish Govt Criticised for Proposing Exceptions in Anti-Polygamy Bill
