The ThinkPad 13 hits a 520:1 contrast ratio at maximum brightness. Again, that’s okay, but not great. The Zenbook hits 820:1, for example. Some affordable laptops like the Satellite Radius 14 are far worse (it’s contrast ratio was a horrible 90:1). But that doesn’t make this display good. If you’re watching a movie on the ThinkPad 13 with a lot of dark scenes, you’re likely to miss out on a lot of shades of grey.
