New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will address several public programs and roadshows in West Bengal on Tuesday (April 13) ahead of the fifth phase of assembly elections. The Union Home Minister is scheduled to address a public meeting at Darjeeling in the morning, followed by rallies in Nagrakata and Islampur. Kolkata: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh (April 13) lashed out at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said her conduct is unbecoming of a CM while addressing a public rally in West Bengal`s Swarupnagar. The Union Defence Minister said, "You talk nonsense about our PM. Why do you blame him for everything? I have also been a Chief Minister, I know how a CM should behave," slamming Mamata Banerjee for speaking and protesting against the Election Commission after the agency on Monday put a ban on her preventing her from campaigning. By Pune Mirror Bureau Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announces strict measures to snap the coronavirus chain as the state witnesses unprecedented surge PUNE: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday announced stricter restrictions, including a ban on the movement for non-essential work, for the next 15 days starting from 8 pm on Wednesday. The state government has issued an order to 'break the chain' of coronavirus disease ( COVID-19 ) for which the IPC section 144 has been imposed in the entire state for the next 15 days. No person is allowed to move out without a valid reason. The persons falling under the essential services are allowed to travel for the work purpose.
