That’s just what these talented bunch of teeny boppers from various Hyderabad colleges did, as they showed up – online — on Day 2 of the Everyuth Times Fresh Face Season 13 to impress the judges and book a berth in the semi finals. Owing to the pandemic, the auditions were held virtually, but that didn’t deter these young go getters from putting their best foot forward. Armed with their singing, dancing and mimicry skills, they charmed their way into the hearts of everyone present, as they livestreamed their acts. Palmerston North’s plan for the decade scores adverse audit opinion
Palmerston North residents are about to be asked for feedback on a city council plan for the next 10 years that just does not work. Audit New Zealand has slapped an adverse opinion on the draft plan because it would need the council to take on more debt than it could afford, even if it could find a lender. Audit director for Audit NZ Debbie Perera said the first three years of the plan would work fine. But the audit panel had to consider the whole decade, and by the fourth or fifth year, the council would be breaching its own borrowing rules, she said. Times Fresh Face: Young, fresh & talented, city students impress on Day 1 of digital auditions
With participation from over a hundred contestants from Hyderabad, Day 1 of the first-ever digital audition of Everyuth Times Fresh Face Season 13 was a huge success. The participants, who showcased their talent in the virtual auditions, not just left the judges impressed with their performances, but proved that nothing, not even the pandemic, can deter their enthusiasm and spirit. Day 1 of the auditions had actor Chirag Jani and influencer-turned-actor Heroshini Komali as the celebrity judges. The auditions began with a video message from Siddhant Chaturvedi, who won Fresh Face 12 and has often shared how Times Fresh Face has been an important platform that contributed to his success as an actor. FCB Ulka’s Anil Kapoor passes away
Anil Kapoor , chairman emeritus, DraftFCB+ Ulka, has passed away. According to media reports, Kapoor was battling cancer for a long time. Kapoor was former managing director and chief executive officer of the FCB-Ulka Group. Kapoor was appointed chairman emeritus of Draftfcb Ulka in September 2010. He was a member of Draftfcb's global operating council and the regional president of Draftfcb Asia Pacific and Africa. Emmerdale legend Deena Payne admits she asked soap bosses not to cast ‘creepy’ Tony Audenshaw as Bob Hope
EMMERDALE legend Deena Payne has admitted she asked bosses not to cast Tony Audenshaw as Bob Hope because she found him "creepy" in the audition. The actress played village legend Viv Hope for 18 years on the ITV soap before she was axed in 2011. She told Soap on the Box podcast: "The truth being there were six people auditioning for Bob and the producer came up to me and said, ‘look did you have any feelings about any them?’ "And I said, ‘Look just not number six because he was really creepy’. And that was Tony. "Anyway bless him, not that anyone told him and he got the job. And in retrospect he was so right." Deena also revealed she had no idea her character was being killed off before she got the scripts. However despite being promised a major exit storyline, Deena was left hurt when her character was suddenly killed off with the actress only discovering her fate when she got the script.
