ARMYs, want to feel even closer to your favourite idols? Samsung has just revealed a smartphone and earbuds that are the result of a collaboration with K-pop group BTS. The Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition will be available from Jul 9, which marks the seventh anniversary of the BTS fan collective, and they all come in the colour purple, which is significant to the band after member V told fans, “I purple you”, which he explained meant love and trust. The smartphone has a purple glass and metal exterior and comes pre-installed with BTS-inspired themes and fan community platform, Weverse. Also included in the box are decorative stickers for fans to further personalise their device, as well as photo cards featuring pictures of the idols. There's even a tiny purple heart at the camera. SINGAPORE: Christabel Sia has no qualms about walking away from clients who insist on intimidation tactics to recover their debts, even if it means forgoing a hefty commission for her agency. One client wanted Sia’s agency, Rocket Debt Collection, to stalk and kidnap the debtor’s child to coerce the debtor into repaying the S$500,000 debt. His contract was terminated. Another, a potential client, wanted the agency to visit the debtor specifically during the Chinese New Year reunion dinner — and offered a 50 per cent commission on a debt of almost a million dollars, instead of the typical 20 per cent. “I said, I’m sorry, I won’t do that,” recounts Sia, the agency’s 41-year-old director and founder. A man earning his living as scrap dealer in Cam Giang district has transported food and foodstuff to provide to thousands of people in the Covid-19 Hotspot on his old motorbike. Diem and Hai have been carrying dozens of rice bags to provide to people in the quarantine area The Highway 5 section which goes across Tan Truong commune in Cam Giang district was deserted on February 23 noon. There were only vehicles helping agencies’ fight against Covid-19 and trucks carrying goods from the vegetable granaries of Kim Thanh and Gia Loc. Hai Duong has been in lockdown since February 16. At a grocery in Ghe hamlet, Vu Thi Hai, 55, and her husband, Do Cong Son, could be seen classifying bags of vegetables and putting eggs into trays.
