Periodic and timely rendition of financial results to the NSE, is one of the key elements in the post-listing requirements of the Exchange which attracts penalties. The companies, which include, Conoil Plc, Oando Plc, Wema Bank Plc, Okomu Oil Plc and Presco Plc among others, failed to meet the March 31, 2021 cut off date (the 90 day timeline required by the rule of the Exchange for quoted companies to file their audited full year result) and will now face financial sanctions as enshrined in the rules of the Exchange. Formula One sees life yet in the internal combustion engine

Current grand prix cars use a highly efficient 1.6 litre V6 turbo hybrid power unit, a far cry from the gas-guzzling V12 and V10 monsters of old, and a new "powerful and emotive" one is due in 2025 to run 100% on sustainable fuels. The sport hopes to set the specification by June this year. "While many people might think the internal combustion engine is dead, I would argue it is far from dead," chief technical officer Pat Symonds told a recent Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) conference on energy-efficient motorsport. Umashankar to lead Ford’s International Markets Group
Ford Motor Company recently announced that PK Umashankar (‘Uma’) has been appointed Director, Ford Customer Service Division, International Markets Group (IMG), effective April 1. In this regional role, Umashankar will have overall responsibility for Ford’s customer service and after-sales initiatives across the diverse and geographically widespread markets that comprise the company’s IMG region. He will relocate to Bangkok, Thailand and report directly to Dianne Craig, president, International Markets Group. “Uma has been instrumental in leading our business in the Philippines amid a very challenging time. Da Nang to develop an international finance center
Director of the city’s Investment Promotion Agency (IPA), Huynh Thi Lien Phuong said the MoU, which was signed late last month, aimed to build a trading center, casino, high-end entertainment and luxury apartments in the coastal area. She said the project would be built on an area of 84,000.sq.m on the beach-front on Vo Nguyen Giap and Vo Van Kiet streets in the Son Tra peninsula. Phuong said Da Nang authorities would auction land-use rights for the finance-trade-casino complex in the future. She said the city was drawing up a detailed plan for the first international duty-free zone and smart urban area for investors. Last year, five key investors – the Import-Export Pan Pacific Group (IPPG), T&T Group, New Techco Company from Vietnam, and Sakae Holding and another company from Singapore – registered for a land-use rights auction for a USD 2 billion finance-trade-casino complex in the central city.
