After being held in Paris early yesterday (Jan 22) over a rape complaint, R&B singer Chris Brown has lashed out at his accuser on Instagram. Brown, 29, was released from police custody along with two people, believed to be his bodyguard and a friend, according to the city's prosecutor's office said. The police are still investigating the case. The accuser, a 24-year-old woman, claimed she was raped at Brown’s suite in the Mandarin Oriental on the night of Jan 15. According to Sky News, she said she met Brown and his friends at the club Le Crystal in northwestern Paris. Shortly after his release, Brown posted a graphic on his Instagram page which read “THIS B**** LYIN’” in capital letters. PARIS: American R&B star Chris Brown was released without charge on Tuesday (Jan 22) after being held overnight for questioning over a rape allegation in Paris, the prosecutor's office said. A 25-year-old woman has accused Brown, along with his bodyguard and a friend, of assaulting her in the luxury Mandarin Oriental hotel last Tuesday night, a source close to the case said on condition of anonymity. The Grammy Award-winning singer, 29, was detained on Monday on suspicion of aggravated rape and a drug offence. The prosecutor's office said an investigation was continuing, while Brown's lawyer Raphael Chiche said his client "energetically" proclaimed his innocence and wanted to bring a defamation lawsuit. The actress and former Miss World told the Associated Press about her experience with racism while in high school in the US as a teenager. She said: “I was treated differently because I’m brown. I had, you know, really racist behaviour when I was in high school in 10th grade.
