THE NHS mental health website crashed just minutes after Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William appeared in an ad promoting it. The Cambridges and Sussexes were applauded for their involvement in the advertisement that aims to raise awareness for mental health. And the advert was so successful in raising the initiative’s message that the website crashed after the ad aired just before 9pm yesterday. A message read that the website was “experiencing technical difficulties”.A spokeswoman for PHE said: “We think it was due to high [traffic]. We had technicians working on it immediately and we’re back up and running now.” The three-minute video – in which the four royals act as narrators and tell viewers how to beat bad sleep, stress and low mood – was broadcast at 8.45pm on ITV, Channel 4, Five and Sky.
