Caris LeVert will be staying with the Nets for the foreseeable future. Brooklyn and the wing agreed to a three-year, $52.5 million extension that will begin with the 2020-21 season, according to a report from ESPN, which cites unidentified league sources. LeVert received the new deal on his 25th birthday, ESPN’s report notes. LeVert suffered a scary leg injury in mid-November and was diagnosed with a dislocated foot. He missed about three months before returning in early February. LeVert, the No. 20 pick in the 2016 draft out of Michigan, finished the season averaging 13.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 40 games.
