Vietnamese Tourism Ambassador Ly Xuong Can (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese Tourism Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (RoK) Ly Xuong Can signed an agreement in Hanoi on January 30 with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) to establish an office to promote Vietnamese tourism in the host nation. Under the agreement, which is effective until December 31, 2020, the VNAT and the ambassador will provide information about Vietnam’s tourism to Korean tourists, organise tours to Vietnam, and help Vietnamese agencies and businesses organise tourism promotion events in the RoK. Can will partner with the VNAT’s Tourism Market Department to build and launch tourism promotion events, as well as provide information about Vietnam’s tourism events, major tourist destinations, and prestigious tourism services. He will also inform the VNAT about Korean tourism policies and products, as well as print and issue publications about Vietnam’s tourism. Ly Xuong Can, whose Korean name is Lee Chang Kun, was born in 1958 in Seoul.
