Florida Times-Union, The Associated Press and other reports 8 p.m. UPDATE: Police have identified the suspected gunman in today’s mass shooting in Jacksonville as 24-year-old David Katz of Baltimore, Md. The Miami Herald posted a photo of Katz and shared a tweet by the Buffalo Bills in February that shows Katz being honored as the team’s Madden 17 football video game champion. Congrats to David Katz, the Madden 17 Bills Championship winner!https://t.co/YHJHzlFElc pic.twitter.com/incdEhLxkT— Buffalo Bills (@buffalobills) February 27, 2017 During an evening press conference, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced that Katz is believed to have opened fire at a Madden NFL 19 tournament at The Landing in downtown Jacksonville. Officials said Katz turned the gun on himself after firing several rounds of bullets, killing two people and injuring 11. The Herald is reporting that the gamers who were killed are Taylor Robertson, 27, of Ballard, W. Va.; and Eli Clayton, 22, of Woodland Hills, Calif.
