Cam Ngoc Le, 48, was arrested on Aug. 8 when San Jose police officers responding to a report of a domestic disturbance on Muirfield Court found a woman suffering major head trauma from an assault, according to the San Jose Police Department. The woman, only identified as Le’s wife, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. She died just over a week later on Thursday, officials said Friday.
