PUBLISHED: 11:53 30 July 2018 Sarah Robinson The centenary of women’s suffrage will be celebrated with the summer show Make More Noise. Bristol Old Vic Young Company, a youth theatre for 350 young people, is presenting the show to remember those who fought for women’s right to vote. Company director Lisa Gregan said: “The piece is not only about all the women of the past who have fought for equality, it is about how it impacts us now, as women and girls in 2018. “What better way than an all-female cast to truly show our gratitude for all of the things we have gained, but also to help us understand why there is more change to be done.” Make Some Noise has been devised by girls and women from the young and adult companies. The show will be at the Bristol Old Vic, in King Street, on August 2-4 at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £10-14, are available at www.bristololdvic.org.uk or on 01179 877877.
