Top Vietnamese legislator wishes for stronger parliamentary ties with Laos

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan welcomes visiting Lao NA Vice Chairman Sengnouane Sayalat (L). NA Charwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said the Vietnam visit this time by the Lao NA delegation as well as the official visit by General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos  Bounnhang Vorachith and his wife and high-ranking delegation have deepened the friendship, special solidarity, pure and close-knit relations between of the Parties, States and people of Vietnam and Laos. Over the recent past, both sides have well maintained annual exchange mechanisms of NA delegation and agencies, and timely exchange of information, and strengthened mutual trust to build a close relationship between NA leaders and deputies. During the high-level visits, the two countries jointly organized a host of seminars with very practical and useful contents demonstrating the higher cooperation efficiency between the two legislative bodies.
