Seeking travel and work in the U.S. with ISIC By Van Oanh in Hanoi ISIC Festive Day – Tourism & Career will open on March 14 at Thien Duong Bao Son Park, Hanoi for local students planning a trip to or seeking employment in the U.S. Organized by central authorities of Vietnamese Students’ Association & International Student Identity Card (ISIC) Association, the event is expected to attract 20,000 students. It will include an ISIC exhibition, a workshop on career and tourism and exchange games and artistic performances by students from the Foreign Trade University and Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Students will have a chance to register for 2009 summer camp as well as receive information about a trip or a job in the U.S. from over 600 jobs. The Campaign board of Indoor Games will also use this occasion to collect student signatures for their program of collecting two million signatures supporting Indoor Games. The festivities will also include an artistic night which will be broadcast live on VTC1 with attendance of singers Ha Anh Tuan, Khac Trieu, Bao Thy and Tra Ny Idol, as well as a contemporary drama show by Doan Ke Doan troupe. Thien Duong Bao Son Park will offer free entrance ticket and discounts on games and services on the day. The event is an initiative by ISIC Vietnam to introduce students in Hanoi to ISIC and the advantages of membership, which provides students with an international awareness through the promotion of travel and exchange opportunities….
